After months of wearing braces and seeing zero results for lingering knee and wrist issues, I finally scheduled an appointment with Dr. Park for my first-ever acupuncture treatment - and I'm glad I did! After the first month the pain and discomfort went from daily to rarely, and by the end of the second month I was able to walk without knee pain, grip a pen without pain, and resume my daily activities. Dr. Park is a miracle worker, and an expert at what he does. My only regret is that I didn't visit him sooner.

I got treated by Dr. David Park just a few weeks ago for my Carpal tunnel and pain in the lower back. After 3 times I went there I felt already 70% better.  I was unfamiliar with, and a little nervous about having acupuncture for my knee arthritis pain, but after finding David Insung Park, Licensed Acupuncturist in Freehold, I decided to give it a try. He was very reassuring and took his time assessing my pain issues and explaining what he could do to help alleviate my pain. I have had "bone on bone" knee arthritis with painful symptoms for the past ten years, and when I went to David Insung Park my pain symptoms were so bad that at times I could barely walk. I am in my 60's, and not ready to slow down yet, but for several months before seeing David Insung Park I had resorted to using a cane to get around and found I was not able to do my usual activities of housework, gardening, walking and horseback riding. My knee pain was often keeping me awake at night. I had some improvement in the level of pain after only one session. Before acupuncture, both my knees were very painful, and after each acupuncture session, I felt less and less pain. After a few weeks of treatments, my pain has dramatically improved, and I am not waking up in pain at night. I am able to go back to my active lifestyle with little to no knee pain symptoms. I plan to keep up a schedule of acupuncture treatments as needed in order to keep my body moving without pain. I have been treated for poor circulation by Dr. Park. My feet, ankles, and lower legs swell especially in the summer. My swelling started to decrease after acupuncture treatment. I have been suffering for 15 years and after multiple doctors and sonograms there was no treatment prescribed other than water pills (I refused to take) and therapy socks. For a few weeks now I have been doing acupuncture at Acupark. I was being treated for a rash. In the beginning very quickly I could see the visible and physical difference. After a few months of acupuncture treatments with Dr. Park I started feeling better, I can better manage stress, my anxiety and depression has subsided, I am pretty much headache free, and I no longer feel fatigued and drained very easily.

I started going for acupuncture treatment because I going through a hard time; I was under a lot of stress, I felt fatigued and with very low energy, I was experiencing some depression, and also had constant migraines. My condition was also affecting in ways that made it harder for me to frequent public places because I would become drained of energy, extremely tired and depressed while I was out. I had been suffering with unexplained head and facial pain for five months. I went to the best neurologists in New Jersey and New York... I was tested for every conceivable cause, but my tests all came back normal. My pain unfortunately, continued. I am so happy to have found Mr. Park. I have had irregular menses for 17 years and menorrhagia for the past 8 years... My periods normally last 1-3 months and are super heavy, ... I no longer have a heavy cycles. Conventional treatment was not working for me and made it worse.The length of my cycles are shorter as well.

 I began acupuncture ... had seven treatments. The pain disappeared, and the condition resolved.... My physician prescribed a muscle relaxant and stretching exercises. This helped some, but the pain was not resolved.Park has performed 4 acupuncture treatments, and the leg is better. There is no pain. 

Park Acupuncture requested a testimonial about the services provided to me.Park has performed acupuncture successfully for two conditions since 2014.I first went to Park last year to address a severe case of tennis elbow, aka lateral epicondilitis. This condition first appeared in September of 2013 and was treated by an orthopedic surgeon with cortisone and anti-inflammatory medication (Celebrex), along with occupational therapy. There was minimal improvement, and in fact the pain reappeared in February of 2014. This is a common problem, afflicting athletes and people in occupations with a lot of repetitive use of the arm. In February 2014 an MRI was performed, with a diagnosis of "severe lateral epicondilitis". I began acupuncture in late February or early March of 2014, and had seven treatments. The pain disappeared, and the condition resolved. I played tennis three times a week last summer and fall, and also have lots of activity including gardening and house projects. There has been no pain to speak of.This year Park has treated me for pain of the thigh and lower leg. It was an unusual problem, in which most of the pain occurred during the middle of the night. My physician prescribed a muscle relaxant and stretching exercises. This helped some, but the pain was not resolved. Park has performed 4 acupuncture treatments, and the leg is better. There is no pain.I will consider acupuncture again if other problems appear, and have full confidence that Park can help me if standard medical therapy does not work. Park has always been honest with me about the chance for a successful outcome, which he will not promise. His acupuncture has worked for me. In the case of the tennis elbow, it was so bad that I was considering surgery. This was avoided. My insurance does not pay for acupuncture, but I consider it a worthwhile investment. Not only is there relief (which doctors had not been able to provide), but I have avoided the high cost of deductible and copayments that would have been required for surgery. Not to mention the discomfort, inconvenience, and expense.

All the health doctors I have seen about my problem not one helped me. They just masked the problem by giving me pills. But not Acupuncture!!!!!

My hip was not functioning properly which was causing my foot drop issues. He helped a lot with getting my hip to do what it is supposed to do, which in turn, helps my foot drop problems... Insung has also helped me with my Reynaud's Syndrome and sleeping problems and various aches and pains when they crop up.

I have been seeing Insung Park for the past two years. There doesn't seem to be anything he can't fix.I started seeing him because I have Multiple Sclerosis. He has helped me with incontinence issues from the MS. He also has helped me with my balance and foot drop problems. My hip was not functioning properly which was causing my foot drop issues. He helped a lot with getting my hip to do what it is supposed to do, which in turn, helps my foot drop problems.Then, the other day, I came in with poison ivy and warned him not to touch that spot while he was working on other issues. He said he could fix the poison ivy, which I found hard to believe. He put needles in the area where the poison ivy had started. By the next day, I had no more new spots developing. I used to have a terrible headache like on and off a week before my monthly period. Sometimes I don't have my period for 2 consecutive months. I told Insung Park about it, started the treatment and I make sure that I come on my schedule. The 2nd month is less pain, the 3rd month no headache and my monthly menses came a week before my due date. Amazing right.There are more benefit by doing Acupuncture on our general health. I?ve had a ganglion cyst on the outside of my ankle for over a year from putting too much stress on it during my distance running training. The cyst was about the size of a golf ball. Thanks to Insung it is almost gone and down to the size of a pea! The only other way to get rid of it was by having it drained or getting surgery with the risk of it returning. I?m glad the acupuncture has worked! I also suffer from amenorrhea and after going to acupuncture and taking herbal medication my period has returned! My headaches used to be about 8/10-10/10

I have had three acupuncture treatments so far with Mr. Park. I came for acupuncture as an alternative form of treatment for my headaches and eye strain primarily. I found it hard to concentrate, read, and it was affecting my emotional well being - I became anxious and depressed over it. I was worried that the process would hurt, and I am a nurse so I am good with needles but nonetheless, I was apprehensive - but it really doesn't hurt! At times I feel a little pinch and then it goes away, and Mr. Park checks in on my during my treatment and asks how I am feeling and if any needle is bothering me - he taught me that a heavy pressure if normal and good because it indicates that the energy is flowing and becoming unblocked (and if it feels sharp, then he removes the needle). The entire experience is actually very relaxing, nice music is playing in the background, you can place a sand bag over your eyes and fall asleep and forget about your worries. Regarding my headaches and eye pain, I already feel SIGNIFICANTLY better - and with that - my eye pain/strain has gotten much better as well. I can study and read again with hardly any issue. I do still continue to be treated by Mr. Park, so I am sure by the completion of all my sessions, I will feel completely better, physically and emotionally. Mr. Park is very kind, attentive, and really listens and cares for his patients, I would highly recommend him.

(I'm very happy to say that after only two weeks of treatments I am experiencing great improvement.)

I am a 42 year old woman dealing with multiple autoimmune ailments. I have battled with ulcerative colitis for the past 21 years and as of a year ago I was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disorder. (MCTD) involves symptoms that range from joint pains, extreme fatigue to swelling and numbness to most of my extremities. The last year was particularly difficult physically but most of all mentally. I developed extreme anxiety which led to a fear of driving and thus really interfered with my every day life. I am already on lots of medications and I really did no want to add anymore to my daily regimen, so it was then that I decided on acupuncture as an alternative medicine to help with all of my problems.

I'm very happy to say that after only two weeks of treatments I am experiencing great improvement. My lower back pain is almost non existing, the numbness and pain on my arms has decreased by 50% and most important my anxiety has really improved tremendously. I'm proud to say that after only 4 treatments with Mr. Park, I'm now driving again and I feel much calmer in general.

I look forward to my treatments, I feel that the combination of acupuncture and the herbs that he recommended are having a positive impact and I am liking the outcome. Suffering from Migraine headaches, Sinus infections, Allergies, and severe back pain.

I am a twenty eight year old girl and I started going to Dr. Park because I was suffering from extreme migraines.

I had tried going to a chiropractor, general doctor and physical therapy. The migraines had not gone away at all and the back pain was marginally better but still an issue. After my first two visits I no longer experienced the migraines and have barely had a headache since then.

I have been going to Dr. Park about a 3 months already and I see a huge improvement in my health mentally and physically.

I'm a woman in my 50's and have been going for Acupuncture sessions with Insung Park on average of every other week for well over a year.

He is a master in his craft and can pinpoint the exact areas to apply needles for wellbeing and energy flow throughout the body.

I had an automobile accident

I am a woman in my fifties and have been receiving treatments from Insung Park on and off for a few months beginning early 2012. I was nervous at first because I did not know much about acupuncture but was willing to give it a try, being my blood pressure fluctuated more than it should and I was trying to achieve optimum heart health without having to go on medication. Also, I was under stress from work and life in general and I had a pain on my left side of my neck/upper shoulder area when I initially started treatments and I also recently developed sciatica and knee pain. Once I began acupuncture treatments, I began feeling more invigorated. It's supposed to work by unblocking the bodily lines of energy flow, which may become clogged over time. The first treatment was the hardest because I wasn't used to it, but once you become accustomed, it's a great way to treat anything that ails you. My neck is much better with hardly any pain and my sciatica is already improving. I was also experiencing sinus ailments earlier in the year, but those too have greatly improved. I'm still working on getting my blood pressure/heart health under optimum control, but that takes a bit more time and perseverance, but I have every faith that it too will greatly improve with the help of proper diet and exercise, along with ongoing acupuncture treatments.  Sciatica & Lower Back Pain

My sciatic nerve was pinched causing me severe pain where I could not sit, stand or lay down for long periods of time. I am 31 years old and it would take me 20 minutes just to get out of my truck. It affected my whole mood and life, I was in constant pain. I was losing sensation and feeling in my legs and toes and I could barely even put on my socks. I felt crippled and desperate. I visited a doctor and he immediately wanted to give me a shot of cortisone in my back and put me on pain killers, I refused. I was desperate and decided to try acupuncture. I don't like needles or doctors for that matter but I felt this was my last resort. After the first session, I was still in pain, but immediately was able to feel my toes again, so I knew something good happened, so I decided to continue. After a few sessions with Dr. Park, I was able to move again. After 1 month of treatment, I can honestly say I never felt so healthy and free of pain. I have been suffering from too much fatigue, lower-back pain, body pain, headache, stress and sleeping problems. 

My chronic lower back pain have always been severe.

Being a massage therapist is tough, I have been suffering from too much fatigue, body pain, headache, stress and sleeping problems. For many years, all I did to ease my pain is to take several kinds of pain killers and because of this, I feel like my body is getting immuned from the chemicals so now it's not effecting on my body like it used to. I tried taking over 5 different brands of pain killer but in the end, I still have to not double the dose i intake but triple it just to take effect. That's when I decided to give Dr. Park's acupuncture a try.

In just three sessions of his acupuncture, my chronic lower back and body pain have been better. My headaches became tolerable and now I feel like my body is able to recuperate my energy faster than before. Before, I used to sleep at 3-4am in the morning because of my sleeping problem, but now, I can manage to sleep before 11pm.

Dr. Park's acupuncture is really amazing. Now I don't have to drown myself with different kinds of painkillers, just his acupuncture once a week is enough for me:)

  I was amazed that it didn't hurt at all!

For 6 years, I have been in so much pain every time my period comes.

At first I was hesitating on doing acupuncture because I am a little afraid of needles but when my mother took me to Dr. Park for the first time, I was amazed that it didn't hurt at all!

I'm an 18 y/o student suffering from an irregular menstruation cycle, severe dysmenorreah and many other PMS symptoms such as headaches, stress, anxiety, fatigue since the first time I've gotten my period. For 6 years, I have been in so much pain every time my period comes. There are countless of times where I have to be absent in school for 3 straight days just because of my situation. It really is very inconvenient and depressing that I have to miss many school activities which have put me into so much pressure to catch up the next few days I return school.

Thanks to Dr. Park that now, my menstruation is regular, my abdominal cramps are now tolerable and other PMS symptoms are gone! On top of that, my problem with constipation is now getting better.

My senior year of High School have been very busy but it wasn't as stressful as my Junior year because of the acupuncture Dr. Park had given me. Dr. Park's needles are really incredible, besides the fact that it makes my body healthy, his acupuncture let's my mind and body relax (which I was never able to do because of too much school activities) at the same time.

 I was diagnosed with arthritis throughout my body, neuropathy of both legs and diabetes.

After get acupuncture, now I enjoy meeting people and being sociable again.
