I was recommended Mr Park by a friend for ulcerative proctitis. I was tired of conventional medicine that had me on multiple medicines that were not helping. After 2 years of multiple Gastroenternoligistsi had low energy and constant stomach ache. Mr Park was very kind and empathetic as well as knowledgable. in three months i was able to ween myself of one of the medications. He prepares herbs that are continuing to make a big difference. My condition has improved and i am grateful and hopeful for a full recovery. The needle sometimes pinch a little but once it is in, i find it relaxing. Infertility and Raynaud's Syndrome

Knee and Wrist Pain

After months of wearing braces and seeing zero results for lingering knee and wrist issues, I finally scheduled an appointment with Dr. Park for my first-ever acupuncture treatment - and I'm glad I did! After the first month the pain and discomfort went from daily to rarely, and by the end of the second month I was able to walk without knee pain, grip a pen without pain, and resume my daily activities. Carpal Tunnel and Lower back pain

Hi there. I got treated by Dr. David Park just a few weeks ago for my Carpal tunnel and pain in the lower back. After 3 times I went there I felt already 70% better.  I was unfamiliar with, and a little nervous about having acupuncture for my knee arthritis pain, but after finding David Insung Park, Licensed Acupuncturist in Freehold, I decided to give it a try. He was very reassuring and took his time assessing my pain issues and explaining what he could do to help alleviate my pain. I have had "bone on bone" knee arthritis with painful symptoms for the past ten years, and when I went to David Insung Park my pain symptoms were so bad that at times I could barely walk. I am in my 60's, and not ready to slow down yet, but for several months before seeing David Insung Park I had resorted to using a cane to get around and found I was not able to do my usual activities of housework, gardening, walking and horseback riding. My knee pain was often keeping me awake at night. I had some improvement in the level of pain after only one session. Before acupuncture, both my knees were very painful, and after each acupuncture session, I felt less and less pain. After a few weeks of treatments, my pain has dramatically improved, and I am not waking up in pain at night. I am able to go back to my active lifestyle with little to no knee pain symptoms. I plan to keep up a schedule of acupuncture treatments as needed in order to keep my body moving without pain. Chronic shoulder pain

I was suffering from shoulder pain for several years. I tried orthopedic physical therapy, medications, topical rubs and chiropractic adjustments, all to no avail. Gastritis and Drowsiness

Poor circulation in lower extremities

I have been treated for poor circulation by Dr. Park. My feet, ankles, and lower legs swell especially in the summer. My swelling started to decrease after acupuncture treatment. I have been suffering for 15 years and after multiple doctors and sonograms there was no treatment prescribed other than water pills (I refused to take) and therapy socks. Once Dr. Park began treating me I saw a decrease in swelling. I have been treated for 4 months and my edema is 70% better. It will take time to 100% swelling free. Pinched nerve causing burning and numbness in my hands

After a few months of acupuncture treatments with Dr. Park I started feeling better, I can better manage stress, my anxiety and depression has subsided, I am pretty much headache free, and I no longer feel fatigued and drained very easily.

I had been suffering with unexplained head and facial pain for five months. I went to the best neurologists in New Jersey and New York... I was tested for every conceivable cause, but my tests all came back normal. My pain unfortunately, continued. For those of you doubting the success of acupuncture, rest assured, it works. I had been suffering with unexplained head and facial pain for five months. I am a 56 year of female who has been suffering with Meniere's disease for a few years ... Around every 6 months i would get a very bad vertigo episode that would last for days ... I am feeling 100 times better ... The needles do not hurt and once they are in you begin to unwind and eventually fall asleep.

I am a 56 year of female who has been suffering with Meniere's disease for a few years before I came to Dr. Park's practice. Around every 6 months i would get a very bad vertigo episode that would last for days. I lost so much work time because of this condition. It stated 5 years ago and I've tried all kinds of medication for my condition. Mostly I would just take valium, zofran for nausea and meclizine for dizziness to help me get through each debilitating episode.

I happened to come across a vertigo blog where someone stated that accupuncture worked for them. i was so desperate at this point that I looked up a local accupuncturist. Dr. Park's website came up and after reading all of his positive testimonials I decided to try it. That was my turning point.

Dr. Park has truly helped my vestibular problem immensely. I started treatment in November 2014 and now it is July 2015 and I am feeling 100 times better. I go once a week and because of accupuncture I am able to drive, exercise and even move my head in different directions. With vertigo, the slightest head turn can cause dizziness. These things seem so trivial to people without vestibular disease but to me it is a miracle.

I recommend Dr. Park because of his caring and gentle nature. He has a bedside manner that makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. The needles do not hurt and once they are in you begin to unwind and eventually fall asleep. It is a very nice break from your daily routine to spend 30 minutes relaxing and listening to soft music.

For all of my fellow Meniere's sufferers, I highly recommend Dr. Park for treatment. I never thought anything would help this illness but after being treated only a few times I saw a big difference in my health. I can't stress it strongly enough to try accupuncture for any vestibular disorder. Much to my surprise, my insurance covers my treatment, too. That's a wonderful thing that this form of medicine is being recognized as a valid medical treatment. I would rather take a natural approach than take pills and hope for the best.

I am so happy to have found Mr. Park. I have had irregular menses for 17 years and menorrhagia for the past 8 years... My periods normally last 1-3 months and are super heavy, ...  I began acupuncture ... had seven treatments. The pain disappeared, and the condition resolved.... My physician prescribed a muscle relaxant and stretching exercises. This helped some, but the pain was not resolved.Park has performed 4 acupuncture treatments, and the leg is better. There is no pain. 

Park Acupuncture requested a testimonial about the services provided to me.Park has performed acupuncture successfully for two conditions since 2014.I first went to Park last year to address a severe case of tennis elbow, aka lateral epicondilitis. This condition first appeared in September of 2013 and was treated by an orthopedic surgeon with cortisone and anti-inflammatory medication (Celebrex), along with occupational therapy. There was minimal improvement, and in fact the pain reappeared in February of 2014. This is a common problem, afflicting athletes and people in occupations with a lot of repetitive use of the arm. In February 2014 an MRI was performed, with a diagnosis of "severe lateral epicondilitis". I began acupuncture in late February or early March of 2014, and had seven treatments. The pain disappeared, and the condition resolved. I played tennis three times a week last summer and fall, and also have lots of activity including gardening and house projects. There has been no pain to speak of.This year Park has treated me for pain of the thigh and lower leg. It was an unusual problem, in which most of the pain occurred during the middle of the night. My physician prescribed a muscle relaxant and stretching exercises. This helped some, but the pain was not resolved. Park has performed 4 acupuncture treatments, and the leg is better. There is no pain.I will consider acupuncture again if other problems appear, and have full confidence that Park can help me if standard medical therapy does not work. Park has always been honest with me about the chance for a successful outcome, which he will not promise. His acupuncture has worked for me. In the case of the tennis elbow, it was so bad that I was considering surgery. This was avoided. My insurance does not pay for acupuncture, but I consider it a worthwhile investment. I felt robotic and severely anxious. I would cry all the time and overanalyze situations and panic over little things ... I didn't want to go anywhere and I wasn't sleeping at night... I was a lot happier and my anxiety has drastically decreased. Along with some herbal medication I finally felt like a normal human being.

Back in early 2014, I was having a horrible time with adjusting to a new medication that I started January 2014 since my old prescription was no longer available. It was the worst experience of my life! I eventually called my doctor to tell her that I wished to come off the medication immediately and came off the prescription in March 2014. Naturally being diagnosed with MS has released some extreme anxieties ... Well, I must say that I was very surprised. Even after the first treatment, you develop a mode of meditation that I did not think existed. I am very happy with the positives results.

All the health doctors I have seen about my problem not one helped me. They just masked the problem by giving me pills. But not Acupuncture!!!!! 

This is the 3rd month that I have had no menstrual cramps! I have had sever debilitating menstrual cramps at a very young age. My hip was not functioning properly which was causing my foot drop issues. He helped a lot with getting my hip to do what it is supposed to do, which in turn, helps my foot drop problems... Insung has also helped me with my Reynaud's Syndrome and sleeping problems and various aches and pains when they crop up.

My husband and I have been trying for our 2nd baby for over 9 months naturally while I was still nursing our +2 year old son several times a day. I finally stopped breastfeeding my son in January 2013, and we were able to conceive naturally both in March and in July 2013, but they both ended in early miscarriages. We were devastated because my doctor didn?t know what caused the miscarriages and didn?t mention if I should go for any tests. The one thing I have learned is that if you go to a surgeon you will have surgery performed on you. That's their training. If they see a lump it must be cut out. I have had three acupuncture treatments so far with Mr. Park. I came for acupuncture as an alternative form of treatment for my headaches and eye strain primarily. I found it hard to concentrate, read, and it was affecting my emotional well being - I became anxious and depressed over it. I was worried that the process would hurt, and I am a nurse so I am good with needles but nonetheless, I was apprehensive - but it really doesn't hurt! At times I feel a little pinch and then it goes away, and Mr. Park checks in on my during my treatment and asks how I am feeling and if any needle is bothering me - he taught me that a heavy pressure if normal and good because it indicates that the energy is flowing and becoming unblocked (and if it feels sharp, then he removes the needle). The entire experience is actually very relaxing, nice music is playing in the background, you can place a sand bag over your eyes and fall asleep and forget about your worries. Regarding my headaches and eye pain, I already feel SIGNIFICANTLY better - and with that - my eye pain/strain has gotten much better as well. I can study and read again with hardly any issue. I do still continue to be treated by Mr. Park, so I am sure by the completion of all my sessions, I will feel completely better, physically and emotionally. Mr. Park is very kind, attentive, and really listens and cares for his patients, I would highly recommend him.

It was truly magnificent for the first time in my life to be on an even-keel emotionally every day of the year. 

 In 2011 I wrote a glowing testimonial for Dr. Park, whom I had been seeing since December 2010 for weekly acupuncture treatments. Since that time a lot has happened, which has only served to reinforce my recommendation of Dr. Park and his treatments.

I was and am now seeing Dr. Park weekly. As a result of these treatments, I had reached a wonderful plateau where I could identify when I was entering a manic cycle or a depressive cycle. The difference though, was that the change in cycle was not as extreme as it had been. It was no longer ?high on life? and then ?crash & burn?. My days remained quite level with only a very mild sense of sadness of excitation. It was truly magnificent for the first time in my life to be on an even-keel emotionally every day of the year.

Last year I got very involved with an elderly neighbor?s care and seeing Dr. Park appeared to be a nuisance. From May 2012 through December 2012, my visits were haphazard. I cancelled regularly. I didn?t show because ?something more important? needed tending. Some months I didn?t see him at all. I still took all my medications. I felt good. My moods were even. What could possibly go wrong?

What went wrong was 8 months of inconsistent treatment. When January 2013 arrived and I was heading into a depressive cycle, I crashed big time. I barely could get out of bed. I spent days on the sofa blindly staring at TV. I was totally apathetic with feelings of hopelessness and failure towards everything. Dishes piled in the sink. Mail piled up unread. I missed bill payments and I ate very little. My mood was very close to be as it had been when I was first diagnosed without any treatment or medications.

I returned to Dr. Park with my tail between my legs. Much to my surprise, I received no recriminations, no stern lectures from the good doctor; simply encouragement for my return. I started seeing him twice a week for 2 months and then once a week, which I will continue to do. The differences between my moods are not yet quite as unnoticeable as they had been, but in 8 months my manic extremes are contained and my depression doesn?t render me bed/ sofa/ TV bound. I?m low key during those periods and a little less inclined to lengthy conversation, but my life does not come to a crashing stop.

Dr Park continues to impress and amaze me with his skills, but also with his gentle generosity of spirit and kindness. I learned a lesson the hard way and Dr. Park did not humiliate me with lectures and criticism. I continue to strongly recommend him as a healer and practitioner of acupuncture. His addition of a masseuse to his staff and a free 15 minute massage prior to treatment only makes the experience more pleasant.

After 2 visits to Mr. Park I felt significant relief and after the third visit I was able to walk almost without discomfort.

Mr Park was highly recommended to me through a family member. My problem is chronic lower back pain and Sciatica. I have visited several doctors of various specialties who handed me scripts for multiple types of pain pills that clouded my brain but did nothing for the pain. After being able to conceive my daughter after the first month of trying, my husband and I thought getting pregnant again would be a breeze. I am a 42 year old woman dealing with multiple autoimmune ailments. I have battled with ulcerative colitis for the past 21 years and as of a year ago I was diagnosed with mixed connective tissue disorder. (MCTD) involves symptoms that range from joint pains, extreme fatigue to swelling and numbness to most of my extremities. The last year was particularly difficult physically but most of all mentally. Suffering from Migraine headaches, Sinus infections, Allergies, and severe back pain.

I am a twenty eight year old girl and I started going to Dr. Park because I was suffering from extreme migraines.

I had tried going to a chiropractor, general doctor and physical therapy. The migraines had not gone away at all and the back pain was marginally better but still an issue. After my first two visits I no longer experienced the migraines and have barely had a headache since then.

I have been going to Dr. Park about a 3 months already and I see a huge improvement in my health mentally and physically.

My back pain has decreased significantly and he has been helping me with my allergy symptoms, which have been severely extreme this year. I look forward to seeing how I will feel after my treatment is completed. I recommend Dr. Park to everyone he is very professional and caring to all his patients. I know many people are initially scared of experiencing pain with acupuncture but I haven't never experienced any pain and if fact I have two tattoos which hurt much worse than acupuncture ever has. On a scale of 1-10 pain with acupuncture is less than a 2 and my tattoos were about 8. The tiny bit of pain is nothing compared to the vast improvement I have seen in my health since beginning treatment with Dr. Park.

lower back pain

Just wanted to thank you I have had lower back pain for 2 years after my first visit I feel so much better already. It was pain free never felt anything when u did the acupuncture. Looking forward to my next visit.

I'm a woman in my 50's and have been going for Acupuncture sessions with Insung Park on average of every other week for well over a year.

He is a master in his craft and can pinpoint the exact areas to apply needles for wellbeing and energy flow throughout the body.

My battles have included the following ailments at different intervals of time: acid reflux, blood pressure, regularity of heart beat, sinus issues, insomnia, knee and back pain, but they have all greatly improved and I continue ongoing treatments for anything that ails me.

Insung can even perform acupuncture on the face for anti-wrinkle and anti-age function. I am a lot more energetic and youthful and furthermore, I haven't had any respiratory ailments of any kind for well over a year. I hardly use pharmaceuticals of any kind and I can honestly say that acupuncture is a life saver in many ways and we are very fortunate to have Insung.

I wholeheartedly recommend trying any of Insung's treatments for anything that ails you and for stress relief and relaxation. It works for me and it's now a way of life.

Raynaud?s and sleep quality and consistency has improved tremendously, able to focus and concentrate better 

I began going to Insung Park in early January to treat two problems of mine, Raynaud?s phenomenon and infertility (no period for 14 months). After 10 weeks of acupuncture treatments two times a week and 8 weeks of taking herbs the Raynaud?s has markedly improved. Overall I feel much warmer than I used to and my hands and feet no longer lose feeling when exposed to cold. While the cold in my hands and feet has not gone completely I feel a difference and believe the acupuncture and herbs are helping! I have not had my period yet but I feel my body changing and heading in the right direction!

From the very beginning of my treatments I have felt much better in many other ways. My sleep quality and consistency has improved tremendously. Before acupuncture I would often wake up several times in the middle of the night and have vivid dreams. Now I sleep deeply without waking up and without dreams. Upon waking in the morning I feel well rested, refreshed and energized for the day! My digestion is also a lot better than in the past too. I also feel more calm and relaxed throughout the day. Most of all I my mind is more sharp. I am able to focus and concentrate better at work and I don?t get tired as quickly as I used to! I look forward to continuing my treatments each week and expect to see only more improvement as time goes on! Insung is always accommodating and will answer any question of mine with good explanation. I feel he?s really looking out for my best interest and believe he is incredibly knowledgeable! I had an automobile accident

 I had an automobile accident and sustains injuries to my vertebral column. As a result, I have pain in my neck, arms, lower back, legs, headaches, you name it i have it. I had many therapy sessions along with meds and was still walking arounding in pain, until I sign-up for acupuncture treatments. This treatment really works. It makes me feel alive again. Now I can bend and turns my head without turning my whole body. Also, I can stoop and get up with out help. I can wash my feet and open jars. This is a major milestone for me. I was loosing muscle strenght. Thanks to Acupuncture Park for this chines healing practice, I can say I'm on the road to recovery.

Acupuncture is almost nothing like what I had imagined before experiencing it.

The process is relaxing and virtually painless.

The needles are almost as fine as a strand of hair.

Occasionally I would feel a slight pinching sensation when one was being inserted.

But most of the time, I felt no discomfort whatsoever.

Once the needles were in, I could not feel them at all.

After that, I was told to just relax which was easy to do in the warm, comfortable atmosphere of Insung Park's office.

Although acupuncture is a gradual process, after several visits I could feel improvement.

Today, I am feeling good as new and would not hesitate to recommend acupuncture with Insung Park to a friend.
