How long would it take to see the effects of Acupuncture treatments?
How long would it take to see the effects of Acupuncture treatments?
- The older the patient is the longer time they need to be treated. Younger patients would take a shorter time to get treated. Also, more serious/chronic cases would take a longer time to cure than the acute/milder cases.
- Recovery varies with different individuals. Even with the same symptoms/problems, different patients' body would react differently.

Is Acupuncture painful? What does it feel like during and after treatment?
Is Acupuncture painful? What does it feel like during and after treatment?
- While most patients feel nothing, once the needle is inserted some patients feel a slight soreness or a slight pressure (almost unnoticeable) because the needle unblocks the energy pathways that balances out the body. Majority of our patients feel energized and a very soothing feeling after the treatment.
- Acupuncture needles are very different from the needles for sewing or injection. It's thinner than an average human's hair! So it is important to make sure that you go to a licensed acupuncturist to get the right needle for your treatment.
- Acupuncture is very different from the process of getting a tattoo! Getting a tattoo hurts aLOT more! (in my opinion) If the pain of getting a tattoo or a vaccine ranges from 8-10/10 pain, Acupuncture will be 0-2/10 of pain!
